🤍 Olaf is looking for the second chance he truly deserves... 🐾

Olaf is a wonderful 18-month-old male dog, currently weighing around 15 kg (he needs to gain more weight).

When he arrived at the pound, we were heartbroken. He had a severe head injury, with a fracture on the top of his skull about two fingers wide. Our veterinarian believes he was most likely struck with a heavy wooden or metal object. 💔

Thanks to prompt veterinary care and treatment, Olaf has made remarkable progress. He has tested positive for Ehrlichiosis and will begin his medication tomorrow, with an excellent prognosis. 🩺❤️

Despite everything he has endured, Olaf has never stopped trusting people.

He is one of the sweetest, calmest and kindest dogs you could ever meet. 🥹
🚗 He travels beautifully in the car.
🐶 He gets along wonderfully with every dog at the shelter.
❤️ He absolutely adores human affection and simply wants to be close to people.

He is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how such a gentle soul could have suffered so much at such a young age.

We hope Olaf will be ready to travel on our November freedom flight. ✈️ All he needs now is a loving family to open their hearts to him.
