Sometimes the dogs who have been through the hardest times become the gentlest companions.

Menios is a handsome 7-year-old Pointer cross with the sweetest nature. Kind, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented, he simply wants to be close to his humans. If there's a lap available, he'll happily curl up in it. If there's a chair at a café or in the waiting room, he'll sit there like the perfect gentleman, quietly enjoying your company.

He travels beautifully in the car (although he does think the front seat is reserved just for him!) and would love nothing more than joining you for peaceful walks, coffee dates, and relaxing days together. He doesn't need endless excitement—he just wants to be part of someone's everyday life.

As a mature dog, Menios has left the puppy chaos behind. His gentle eyes reflect wisdom, kindness, and quiet gratitude. Older dogs have so much love to give, and Menios is ready to devote his heart to the family who gives him the second chance he deserves.

Sadly, Menios's story began with betrayal. He was abandoned by hunters after becoming ill—something that happens far too often. When he was rescued, he was suffering from severe dental disease and a large bladder stone that caused him great pain. He needed two teeth removed, including one of his upper canine teeth, and received treatment that successfully resolved his bladder stone without surgery.

Today, Menios is healthy, fully vaccinated, neutered, and ready to leave his past behind. Now all he is missing is a family to call his own.
