We took 6 dogs were removed from a hoarders cage. These dogs had spent their lives living in cramped conditions in their filth and in horrendous heat. Food and water was spasmodic and they could go days with nothing
They were amongst 80 that were seized and taken to different rescuers in Cyprus
When they first arrived they were scared and appeared stunned but day by day they have got braver and more relaxed
Now after a few weeks they are excited to see people and love their food and freedom
Unfortunately they are elderly senior dogs but we need to find them retirement homes
Harold we think could be 12 years old but that is just a guess. Every day he seems younger and we are hoping he is. His heart is good and he is healthy. He is just 14 kg so small to medium size and he is an active boy
He is good with other dogs and at night they do curl up together but by day they now have space to move around and explore
He does have an issue with his eyes. One had something in it and with medication is healing but he may have some visual impairment although he can definitely see. The other has exotropia and seems to turn outward.
He is an affectionate boy who has such a lovely character he deserves a comfy bed for his remaining years
