Amaya is 2 years old (estimated DOB 07/11/2023), 13 kg, and currently accepting applications for her very own human.

She arrived at the pound with Argos (1.5 years old, 16.4 kg), and a few weeks later several puppies who looked suspiciously like mini versions of them - Olive, Oz, and Zoe - were found. It’s likely they were used for breeding.

Whatever her past was, Amaya is ready to leave it there and move forward.

Amaya is the kind of dog who really wants to say hi… but she’s going to do it in her own gentle, funny, and utterly delightful way. She softly bows down, wiggles, and gives little jumps to get closer to you. It’s joyful, enthusiastic, and completely adorable, you can’t help but laugh.

She’s affectionate, playful, and full of warmth. The more time she spends with volunteers, the more her happy, engaging personality shines. Despite her past, Amaya is cheerful, loving, and full of fun. She adores human attention, enjoys cuddles, and will brighten every day with her joyful personality.
