Chase, 9 month old, male, Labrador cross

Poor Chase entered the shelter when he was just a young pup. He is shy and is losing his puppyhood to a cage, seeing the same 4 walls day in day out.

He needs a nice home to help him settle so he can finish his puppyhood and make up for lost time.

Chase has been cat tested and we think he would be OK living with cats with careful introductions (as you would with any dog).

Chase has been doing some leash training and is coming on well. But being out of his kennel is difficult for him as he is a shy boy in the shelter. We just know that once he is in a home he will be able to be his true self and we really can’t wait to hear about his personality, we just need his family to notice him!

The good thing is, Chase loves his food so training should be enjoyable for both him and his new family.

Please give Chase a chance. It’s heartbreaking to see him still in the shelter.

If homed with children, they need to be older and patient and understand that Chase needs time to settle.

This boy is going to be the best companion for anyone lucky enough to adopt him.
