Reuban is a gorgeous, affectionate young dog with a huge personality. He is just over two years old, full of energy and charm, and has the sort of cheeky, prince-like confidence that makes people fall for him very quickly. 

He is playful, athletic and loves being outdoors. 

His ideal day involves long walks, plenty of play, cuddles, showing off for photos and demonstrating his trick repertoire. 

Reuban knows sit, paw on both sides, high five and his excellent “meerkat” trick, where he stands up on his back legs to dance. He is a very friendly and excitable boy who enjoys people and loves children. He appears comfortable around other animals, including cats, and plays well with other dogs. He would suit an active family or couple who enjoy getting outside and can give him regular walks, games, stimulation and companionship. 

Reuban is toilet trained and copes well with being left for appropriate periods when he has had proper exercise and a good walk beforehand. 

He is generally a happy, sociable dog who enjoys being involved in family life. Like many young, lively dogs, Reuben can be a bit cheeky. He likes getting onto furniture and beds, but responds well to clear, calm boundaries and understands “no” and “off”. When he becomes overstimulated or overwhelmed, he settles best with space, consistency, gentle boundaries and plenty of positive reassurance. 

Reuben would thrive in a home with a secure garden or easy access to safe outdoor space. He needs people who can match his enthusiasm for life and give him room to run, play, learn and be his happy, athletic self.

Reuben is handsome, loving, funny and full of character. He has a caring nature beneath all the energy, and in the right home he will be an incredibly loyal, entertaining and affectionate companion.
