Otis is a happy soulful dog who loves people and dog company. He walks mainly on long lines. He is food motivated and eats from a slow feeder bowl and loves food puzzles. He has absolutely no aggression around food or dogs or anything at all . He happily plays with dogs and shares toys with current male and female dogs. Otis is a social boy who just wants to say hello to everyone. He is currently living with a 13 year old collie and 5 year old male cocker and he loves running and playing with all dogs. Otis wants to greet everyone he meets and is faultless with our children (18 month old and 3 year old) he both plays nicely, receives cuddle and respects space of children at meals. He is unknown with cats so might be best to say no cats . He is both house trained and crated trained – and sleeps all night in his crate. He has no separation anxiety but thrives on interaction, even if just lying down close to you. The best home for this boy would be with someone around most of the time. Otis needs love and interaction as well as exercise. He would love a large secure garden to play Frisbee and have zoomies around. Otis is respectful of boundaries (he hasn’t been invited upstairs and always waits at bottom of stairs). He has no health issues and is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated ). His recall is great in a secure area but not so good in an open spaces .
His foster mum says. Otis is wonderful with children including very young children. He is real snuggle-bug. Needs a home where he can exercise in a secure space. Loves people, children and dogs. A cuddly dog who really loves snuggling on the sofa with his family and exploring.
